🎁♻️ Do you carefully peel tape and save wrapping paper… or rip into gifts like it’s a race? From eco-guilt to good intentions that never pan out, this holiday habit might be way more common than you think. 🎄😅

When you open a gift, what’s your move? Do you rip into it like it owes you money 💥🎁—or carefully peel the tape like, “I might need this next year”? 😇
Turns out, a LOT of us fall into that second category.
A poll of 30,000 Americans found that a full 34% save wrapping paper after the gifts are opened.
📦 18% actually keep it and reuse it
📦 16% save it with good intentions… but rarely follow through
So yes — that drawer full of folded paper? You’re not alone.
And if you think this is strictly a Depression-era grandma habit… think again. 👵❌Younger people are MORE likely to save wrapping paper than seniors.
📊 Only 25% of seniors save it📊 A whopping 44% of people under 30 do
Apparently, Gen Z is very eco-friendly… emotionally attached… and mildly chaotic. 😅🌱
Women are also a bit more likely to save wrapping paper than men:
👩 38% of women
👨 28% of men
So whether you’re doing it to save money, help the planet, or because you can’t throw away a perfectly good snowman pattern… just know you’re in good company.
