Dolly Parton’s estate announced that the global festival will take place in Nashville and London over two consecutive weekends.
And this wasn’t some random idea that popped up after the fact. Dolly herself had originally planned DollyFest as part of her 80th birthday celebration! 🎂✨
She was reportedly planning to host and perform at the festival herself, but the event had to be put on hold because of health challenges.
Now, her longtime manager, Danny Nozell, says they’re making sure Dolly’s vision finally comes to life. ❤️
Instead of a traditional memorial, Dolly wanted something that felt more like... well, Dolly. 🌟
