We said goodbye to February 👋 and now March is rolling in with longer days, big sports moments, must-watch TV, and a few random holidays you didn’t know you needed.
Here are five things to get excited about this month:
⏰🌞 1. More Daylight (Finally!)
Daylight Saving Time starts this Sunday, March 8th.
Yes, you’ll lose an hour of sleep 😴 … but it also means it won’t get dark at 5 p.m. anymore. Worth it? Debatable.
Then on March 20th, we officially welcome the first day of spring 🌷🌼 So brighter days (and allergy season) are on the way.
🏀⚾ 2. Sports Take Over
March is STACKED if you’re a sports fan.
🏅 The Paralympics kick off this Friday and run through the 15th (with wheelchair curling starting even earlier!).
🏀 March Madness heats up mid-month. Selection Sunday is the 15th, the men’s tournament tips off on the 17th (aka St. Patrick’s Day 🍀), and the women’s games start the 18th.
⚾ And baseball is back! The new MLB season begins March 25th, with the New York Yankees and San Francisco Giants kicking things off on Netflix. Other teams get rolling on the 26th.

📺🎬 3. Big TV & Award Shows
It’s a strong month for couch time.
🎤 Conan O’Brien returns to host Academy Awards on March 15th.
🔥 The final season of Outlander premieres Friday on Starz.
🌄 The Yellowstone spinoff The Madison hits Paramount+ on the 14th.
🌹 The Bachelorette returns on the 22nd.
🎶 The iHeartRadio Music Awards air on Fox Broadcasting Company March 26th.
And yes — there’s even a Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special on Disney+ March 24th. Feeling old yet? 😅
🍿🎥 4. Movies Worth Leaving the House For
🐰 Pixar’s new movie Hoppers hits theaters this Friday.
🚀 And Ryan Gosling tries to save Earth in Project Hail Mary on March 20th.
