Her name is Summer Hinote, and last month, while swimming with friends, she was suddenly bitten by a 10-foot gator, pulled under, and violently shaken. But Summer wasn’t going down easy.
She says she felt the gator brush against her right before it attacked. When it clamped onto her leg and dragged her underwater, Summer started punching the gator in the head. It let go—briefly—then lunged again and started shaking her like a rag doll.
