If you’re traveling to visit family or friends this holiday season, you’ll probably hear the classic line: “Stay as long as you want!” 🥰
But let’s be real . . . they don’t actually mean as long as you want. 😂
A new survey found that most people are cool with hosting guests for six days — and after that, the “polite smiles” start fading fast. 😬
👉 33% of people said they’ll start dropping hints that it’s time to pack it up . . .
👉 And 22% admitted they’ll just straight-up say it. 💀
Of course, parents are a little softer. 💕 They’ll let their adult kids stay around ten days — and honestly, most moms would be thrilled with anything short of “moving back in permanently.” 🫠
But if you’re an in-law or a distant cousin? The limit is five days, MAX. Don’t test it. 😅
It’s not that people don’t like hosting — 46% said they love being the go-to home for the holidays. 🎄 It’s just that space gets tight . . . and 40% of folks don’t even have a guest room, meaning someone’s probably crashing on the couch. 🛋️
So this holiday season, remember: six days of cozy family time is great. Day seven? Time to book that Uber to the airport. 🏃♀️💨
