It’s Friday, so let’s be honest...

How much longer can you actually pretend to be productive today? 😂

If you’re already staring at the clock, waiting for the weekend to begin, you’re definitely not alone. 🍻😅

A new report found that the average American hits their daily energy wall at exactly 2:48 P.M. 🫠⏰

And that’s on a normal day—not even after surviving an entire workweek!

🥱 Some People Are Tired Before Lunch

The afternoon slump is real, but for some people, the exhaustion starts even earlier.

A whopping 21% of Americans say they start feeling drained before noon. 😭☕

So basically, you wake up...

Get ready...

Commute to work...

Answer three emails...

And your body is already like:

“Yeah, that’s enough for today.” 😂

🤖 Are We All Just on Autopilot?

The report also found that 82% of Americans feel like they’re operating on “autopilot” at least some of the time. 🤖

You know the feeling.

Wake up. ⏰

Go to work. 💻

Come home. 🏠

Eat dinner. 🍽️

Scroll on your phone. 📱

Go to sleep. 😴

Then wake up and do the exact same thing all over again. 😂

😮‍💨 Doing the Most Is Exhausting

On top of all that, 70% of people feel like they have to go above and beyond and do “the most” in every situation just to keep up. 💀

Which sounds exhausting.

And honestly, they didn’t ask how many people are perfectly happy doing the absolute least just to survive the day. 😂🙋

☕ How Do We Power Through?

The average American has about 3.2 “quick fixes” they use to get through the day.

The most obvious one?

Caffeine.

Other popular energy boosters include:

🥗 Meals

🥜 Snacks

💪 Protein

Basically, if it’s around 2:48 P.M. and your brain has officially clocked out, it’s time to grab a coffee, a snack, or just stare into space for five minutes and hope nobody notices. 😂

🫠 So When Do YOU Hit the Wall?

For the average American, it’s 2:48 P.M.

But on a Friday?

Let’s be real...

Some of us hit that wall at approximately 9:07 this morning. 😂☕💀
