πΈπ The Only Way Gen X Will Go to Concerts Again
πΈπ What Would It Take to Get Gen X Back at Concerts? Gen X has some very specific demands before they'll start going to concerts again. π They want physical tickets ποΈ, more chairs πͺ, cleaner bathrooms π½, earlier showtimes π, and even a $1,000 fine for every minute the band is late! πΈ And don't even think about letting 20,000 people record the entire concert on their phones. π±π« Find out what else Gen X wants before they're ready to rock again! π€

Gen Xers have spoken... and apparently, concerts need to change. ππΆ
A concert promoter recently posted a video asking Gen X a very simple question:
"What's it going to take to get you guys going out again?"
Luckily, comedian Dan Regan had some answersβand honestly, Gen X might be onto something. π
Here are the demands:
ποΈ 1. Bring Back Physical Tickets
Gen X wants the ticket stub.
π± Cell phone tickets = anxiety.
What if the barcode doesn't scan? What if there's no cell service? What if your phone dies?
Plus, physical tickets make a much better souvenir. ποΈ
π 2. Throw in Some Reading Glasses and Ibuprofen
Apparently, buying a concert ticket should now come with:
π Complimentary reading glasses
π Ibuprofen
Because you're not 25 anymore, and somebody's going to have a sore back before the encore. π
πͺ 3. MORE CHAIRS
This might be the biggest demand.
Chairs.
Gen X would apparently attend a LOT more concerts if they didn't have to stand for three straight hours. ππͺ
You want us to rock? Fine.
Just give us somewhere to sit down between songs.
π½ 4. Cleaner Bathrooms
And please...
NO MORE PORT-A-POTTIES.
If you're charging $100+ for a concert ticket, Gen X would like a bathroom that doesn't look like it belongs at a construction site. ππ½
π° 5. Fine the Band for Being Late
This one is fantastic.
The suggestion?
Fine the band $1,000 for every minute they're late getting on stage. πΈπ€
Because Gen X doesn't have time for a band to "make an entrance."
If the show says 8:00...
START AT 8:00.
Somebody's got to be in bed by 10:30. π΄
π 6. Start Concerts at 3 PM
Spring or summer concert?
Start it at 3:00 PM.
End it by 6:00 PM.
That way everyone can:
π
Enjoy the show
π Drive home before dark
ποΈ Get to bed at a reasonable hour
Honestly, this sounds less like a concert and more like a very aggressive early-bird special. π
π΅ 7. LOCK UP THE CELL PHONES
And finally...
TAKE THE PHONES. π΅
Gen X doesn't want to spend an entire concert staring at 20,000 people holding their phones in the air.
They're there to watch the bandβnot watch somebody record the entire show vertically for Instagram. π
πΈ Gen X's Perfect Concert
So apparently, the ideal Gen X concert looks like this:
ποΈ Physical ticket
π Reading glasses
π Ibuprofen
πͺ Plenty of chairs
π½ Clean bathrooms
π° Bands that aren't late
π Show starts at 3 PM
π΅ No phones
And honestly...
That sounds less like a concert and more like Bingo Night at the retirement community. ππ
But if that's what it takes to get Gen X back in the crowd...
LET THEM ROCK. π€πΈ
