Some people give up after one "no." Not this guy. š Luke Wintrip spent seven years and 43 proposals chasing the heart of the woman he knew was "the one" ā and it finally paid off.
Luke first asked his girlfriend, Sarah, to marry him just six months into their relationship. Her answer? āAbsolutely not.ā š¬ But instead of taking the L, Luke turned it into a long game. A very long game.
Over the years, he planned it all:

š½ļø Fancy candlelit dinners

Each time? She turned him down ā not because she didnāt love him, but because she just wasnāt ready. Luke? Still unbothered. Still proposing.
By the 42nd time, Sarah told him, āNext time you ask, Iām going to say yesā¦ but just you wait.ā So he did.
