95.1 WAPE TOY DRIVE

The spirit of giving and spreading joy was alive and thriving during the recent 95.1 WAPE Toy Drive at St. John's Town Center. Dex and Barbie T hosted a day-long event from 8 am to 6 pm, for a heartwarming cause – collecting toys for the children of Wolfson Children's Hospital. This year's toy drive, in collaboration with Action News Jax, exceeded all expectations, with an incredible threefold increase in donations.

As the day unfolded, we had surprise visit from none other than Santa Claus himself! Santa took a moment to express gratitude to everyone who contributed to the toy drive. His presence added a touch of magic and reminded everyone of the joy that comes from giving, especially during the holiday season.

One of the most remarkable achievements of this year's toy drive was the overwhelming response from the community. The final tally revealed a staggering threefold increase in donations compared to previous years. The collective effort of the listeners, volunteers, and sponsors made it clear that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, incredible things can happen.
