You’ve heard of workplace harassment, but this might be the gassiest case yet.
A police officer in England is under disciplinary review after pulling what he probably thought was a harmless joke . . . but might just cost him his job. According to reports, the officer asked a female coworker to "pull his finger." She refused — obviously knowing where it was going. But instead of backing off, dude doubled down.
He allegedly spun around, stood on his toes, and farted directly in her face from less than six inches away. And then? He laughed.
Not surprisingly, she didn’t find it funny — and now, years later, the incident is still hanging in the air. (Literally and figuratively.)
This all went down in 2021, but the disciplinary board is just now deciding whether his fart-to-face stunt qualifies as gross misconduct. If it does, he's out of a job.
Let this be a lesson: If you’re over the age of 12 and still pulling the “pull my finger” move at work — maybe don't.
