Gen Z Wants Office Perks... Like Rooms for Hookups?!

A new poll says nearly half of Gen Z is having more sex while working remotely — and now 38% say if they’re coming back to the office, they want private spaces for "hookups and solo breaks" during the workday. Would you be cool with “break rooms” like that at work? Or is this next-level unprofessional?

So… ping pong tables and cold brew taps aren’t cutting it anymore?

According to a wild new poll, some members of Gen Z are pushing for a whole new kind of office perk: private spaces for “hookups and solo play” during the workday. Yup — read that again.

The survey revealed that 47% of Gen Z'ers said they’ve been getting more action while working remotely — mostly thanks to flexible schedules and not being stuck in a cubicle. And now, 38% said they’d be down for designated hookup rooms if they had to go back to the office. Think: a “take a break” room… just not for coffee.

Let’s be clear — no one’s (officially) saying it’s happening on Zoom calls. But the vibe is: if I’m giving up remote freedom, I want something back — and apparently, that something is privacy to “unwind.”

But not everyone is opposed to office life.
📈 42% said being around coworkers boosts their confidence, and
😊 18% said it improves their mood.
Meanwhile, 31% worry returning to the office will ruin their sex life and wreck their precious work-life balance.

So, HR departments, take note: You may want to rethink that wellness room. Because Gen Z? They’ve got ideas.

💬 Would you support "hookup rooms" at the office, or is that a hard no?
